God so great, and I am so thankful for the way he reveals himself to us, and through His name he gave is one way that the Lord did that. You can see all these names, you can see its attributes, character, relationships, position, title or office and see who is God, even his heart. A name that identifies a person, it is not just words, but he speaks of is the person. You have received good responses to the names and titles of Jesus Christ, Each name has a meaning and makes sense, they are not just words, but about who he is and what his relationship to us, what is its position, then I think everyone is something we must always take into account in our hearts. who speaks of his position or title is Lord. When we say that Jesus is Lord, we acknowledging his power and authority, and when we say he is our Lord, we are also indicating that we are subjected to Him, we are his servants, we serve. People who knew that Jesus was the Christ, knew the importance of this revelation also it was not just a name, but shows that they knew that the Holy One sent by God. Matthew 16: 15 He said to them, who do you think I am? 16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17 And Jesus answered and said, Blessed art thou, Simon son of Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father which is in heaven. This is also why those who do not believe that Jesus is the Christ, ordered that if anyone confessed that he is, must be discarded out of the synagogue. John 9:22 says these words to his parents because they feared the Jews because the Jews had already agreed that if someone acknowledged that he was Christ, he must be put out of the synagogue. Thus, we see that they understand the importance of the title, Christ. I share this writing that I love you so much, because Jesus is the Christ, The Anointed of God. Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth, the Holy Spirit and power that was doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, because God was with him. We can also see the relationship through his names and titles. The Son of God shows his relationship with God the Father, but it also shows us more about our relationship too, because we are also the son and daughters of God, Jesus is our brother, and since he is our brother, we are also joint heirs with Christ. There are many scriptures that show that Jesus is our brother, but here are some that I like. "Brothers" means brother is just the plural form of it. John 20:17 Jesus said: Do not touch me, because I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father and your Father, to my God and your God. Romans 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit that we are children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with him so that we may be also glorified with him.
